Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival – City Tour (D).
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, our tour guide & driver will welcome you & transfer you to the city center for city tour, for those who arrive here in the morning only.
We will visit the Reunification Palace, Vietnam War Remnants Museum, Central Mosque or Lam Son Mosque or other Muslim Mosques in Saigon on request, the hundred years old Notre Dame Cathedral.
If there is enough time, you can go shopping at Ben Thanh market, then check in the hotel, have a Halal dinner & Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D).
At about 08:00AM, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel Ho Chi Minh City and depart for Tay Ninh. Upon arrival, we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
We drive to Cu Chi tunnels, have lunch at a Halal restaurant before visiting Cu Chi tunnels, aka the “Steel land”. It’s the place where the army troops of the VC (Viet Cong) concealed themselves during the Vietnam war. The tunnel systems were created by local people over years.
This huge construction was a habitation for villagers in the war time, with 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the war, despite its proximity to Saigon.
If you are that way inclined, you can purchase ammunition and fire a weapon of the war on the rifle range.
After visiting the tunnels, we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 3: Saigon – Mekong Delta – My Tho – Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D).
After breakfast, at 8:00 am, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and depart for My Tho. Today, we are heading out of town, we travel by road to My Tho, a capital of Tien Giang Province which is an island port in the Mekong River Delta taking 2 hours to drive from Ho Chi Minh city. On the way, we stop to visit beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda.
Upon arrival at My Tho, we cruise a long day by boat along the Upper River (Mekong Delta) through a region where there are 4 islands with the names of holy animals, such as Drago, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Looking at the floating houses and feed the fish at fish farms along Mekong river, visiting some small factories producing local traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, candies made from coconuts to undertand the daily life on the river Mekong, You also have a chance to taste some of these specialities of the local people in Ben Tre.
The next stop will a Bee keeping Farm, we learn how to collect natural honey, all kind of Pollen-Nectar from tropical fruit gardens. Taste some tea with honey, you will feel strong and pleasant. We continue to Dragon Island by rowing boat through the natural canals with water coconut trees on two banks of river (sampan ride in palm shading creeks – hand rowing boat). Disembark and walk in the tropical orchards, taste some tropical fruits and enjoy traditional music with local people (if available). We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B/..).
Breakfast at hotel, free time at leisure for shopping or relaxing until transfer to the airport for your departure to fly back home. End of the tour and say goodbye to Vietnam.
