Vietnam has decided to issue electronic visas (e-visas) to citizens of all countries and territories, according to Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP issued by the Vietnamese Government on August 14. The Resolution is set to take effect on August 15. Vietnam has so far only granted e-visas to citizens from 80 countries and territories. Upon being granted an e-visa, a foreigner can enter and exit an unlimited number of times within 90 days, without having to go through procedures for obtaining a new visa.

Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. Be aware that your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the last day of your stay in Vietnam and that you must have one blank page left for the visa stamp.
