Day 1: Hanoi – Cucphuong national park ( L, D)
Depart Hanoi at around 8 am, you will arrive Cuc Phuong national park entrance at 11 am, however, we still have to drive 30 minutes further to the center of the park where we start our trekking of 7 km. It will be a very nice hikking, all the time you will be covered by thick forest with no sunshine at all. You also have chance to see the thousand year old tree on the way and enjoy primitive nature, you can see some wild animals if you are lucky.
Have lunch after a long hikking, then we return to the entrance of the park, stop on the way to visit the cave of pre-historical men, you should bring along with you a good flash-light to see more and discover deeply inside the cave, sometimes, you can see wild bats flying that may scare you.
Tonight, we will stay overnight in bungalows of the national park which locates in the middle of the forest, this will help you get closer to nature. Dinner at a local restaurant in the park.
Day 2: Cucphuong national park – Endangered Primate Rescue Center - Van Trinh cave – Van Long nature reserve (B,L).
This morning, you should wake up early to listen to the sound of nature and do some physical exercises and enjoy fresh air of the national park. Then, go for breakfast, check out your room.
At 8:30 am, we bring everything on to car and go for EPRC (Endangered Primate Rescue Center), a project of Frankfurt Zoological Society which was found in 1993 and Turtle Conservation Center. You can see many kinds of langur and turtle here, our local guide will help you learn all about them.
After all, we will drive to Van Trinh cave, a big and beautiful cave in Ninhbinh, during the wartime, whole village could shelter inside, with a lot of amazing stalagmites and stalactites. Have lunch at a local restaurant, after a tasty meal, we will relax and comfort ourselves on a small sampan rowing by local women along the legendary land of Van Long nature reserve, “Van” means clouds and “Long” means dragons, so Van Long means clouds and dragons, a wonderful place for photo hunters and nature lovers.
After an amazing boat trip, we return to our car and drive back to Hanoi. The tour finishes at your hotel in the late afternoon, the end of service.
