At about 16:00, our guide will meet at hotel and start a combined walking tour of street food safari and cultural exploration.
The tour begins at Hoan Kiem Lake where your guide will explain about the legend of the lake.
Start your street food safari in Hanoi Old Quarter, with the first stop to taste Banh Cuon, meaning steamed rice rolls at a local eatery filling with minced pork, spring onion and local mushrooms. On the way our guide will show you the historical Saint Joseph Church, then you will continue trying the iconic Ha Noi's delicacy of Bun Cha - rice vermicelli served with aromatic herb and grilled pork, meet ball, dip in fish sauce. You will also try some Vietnamese green tea at a simple tea stand on the sidewalk, which is very Hanoian’s style, where you can optionally have a chance to try smoking the bamboo pipe, a symbolic combination of Ying and Yang. Continue walking in the Old Quarter with tasting of Green papaya salad with dried beef. During the course of walking, you may encounter some street vendors selling exotic fruits carried by bamboo baskets, the guide will bridge the conversation and help you to choose and taste some before settling down for a cup of egg coffee at a hidden cafe in Hanoi old quarter. At the end of the Street food safari, you are free to continue exploring the area by yourself or walk back to the hotel with our tour guide, the tour ends at 19:00 at your hotel.
