Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
On your arrival at Hanoi International airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel to check in. If there is enough time, enjoy a Water Puppet Show before having dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour – Orphanage village (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will take a half day tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Complex, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Vietnamese museum of Ethnology. Have lunch at a local restaurant, then you will visit an orphanage village in Hanoi to do community work there and interact with the children. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi to Mai Chau valley (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart Hanoi and head west towards for Mai Chau valley, enjoy the stunning views while having a local lunch. After lunch you will walk around or bike the surrounding village afterward. Tonight's accommodation in a stilt house will probably be a little more rustic than you would be used to but an awesome experience. Traditional dancing will be performed after dinner.
Overnight stay at homestay or resort in Mai Chau valley.
Day 4: CIP works in the village (B, L, D)
The CIP works can be re-decorating a classroom or building school, cleaning the surrounding enviroments, filtering water resources or some farm works that you can help the local community by becoming involed in our projects and interacting with locals.
Day 5: CIP works in the village (B, L, D)
The CIP works can be re-decorating a classroom or building school, cleaning the surrounding enviroments, filtering water resources and heath care that you can help the local community by becoming involed in our projects and interacting with locals.
Day 6: CIP works in the village (B, L, D)
The CIP works can be re-decorating a classroom or building school, cleaning the surrounding enviroments, filtering water resources that you can help the local community by becoming involed in our projects and interacting with locals.
Day 7: Mai Chau valley – Hanoi (B, L)
Finish the CIP works and celebrate the handover with local community, let's say goodbye to your new and grateful friends. Have another lunch with local foods before returning to Hanoi.
The rest of the day is free at leisure and vernight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi – Halong bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will take a road trip to Halong Bay, one of the world’s marvels. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before beginning cruising through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as cruising among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery.
After visiting Amazing cave, our boat will anchor in a place with quiet atmosphere. Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood. Squid fishing or relaxing and chatting. Overnight on board.
Day 9: Halong bay – Hanoi (B, L)
For early risers, complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. Then visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by the crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to the Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Check out onboard at around 10.30am. Enjoy a wholesome brunch as boat weaving through strange-shaped limestone rock formations.
Be back at the pier for disembarkation, return to Hanoi city
Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B, L)
After the breakfast at the hotel, have your own free time at leisure before be transferred to Hanoi airport for your flight home, say goodbye to Vietnam.
