Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay at hotel
Our guide and driver will pick you up at Hanoi center, then drive to Halong city. It will take about 3.5-hour to drive along scenic road to Halong city. Journey will go through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, observe everyday life of Vietnamese villagers as they work on the rice fields. Arrive Halong city in the late afternoon. Stay overnight at a hotel in Halong city.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Ninh Binh
In the morning, check out your hotel, you will get into the luxury boat boat to cruise around Halong bay and soak into fabulous scenery of this world heritage site. Halong bay is a breathtaking secluded bay with over 3, 000 limestone islands rising from the clear emerald waters of the Bac Bo gulf ( gulf of Tonkin). It is one of the most magnificent scenic regions in Vietnam and had been listed as 1 of new 7 Wonders of the World. The area of about 1500sq km is dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes, created over thousands of year by the waves and wind. You will have the opportunity to go kayaking and explore some caves. You will enjoy a seafood feast for lunch on board.
In the afternoon, drive to Ninh Binh. Arrive Ninh Binh at about 4 or 5 pm, you will enjoy a nice cycling tour in Tam Coc which was nicknamed as second Halong bay of Vietnam or Halong bay in land.
Overnight in Ninhbinh resort/hotel/ homestay.
Day 3: Ninh Binh – Mai Chau Discovery
In the morning, you will take boat trip a long a clean and clear water river to visit numerous limestone mountains here. Your rowing boat will take you through caves, you can see stunning landscapes here. Then, we go for lunch at a local restaurant with local foods. After lunch, visit Dinh and Le temples at Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam. Then drive to Mai Chau valley. Overnight at Mai Chau Ecolodge/ homestay or hotel.
Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (Breakfast ).
Walking in the beautiful valley of Mai Chau to visit villages and meet local white Thai people, learning about their life style, take many beautiful photos, have a lunch with local foods and then drive back Hanoi, the trip ends at your hotel.
