Day 1 - Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)
Hanoi is one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society. You are greeted by your guide and driver at Noi Bai International Airport for your transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 - Hanoi city tour - full day (B/L/-).
After breakfast, stroll through the residential area where there is the former Palace of the Governor General of Indochina, the house and the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and a visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum.
Then you will continue visiting the many monuments and cultural relics thousands of years which are deeply connected to Vietnam history and its legends such as the Literature Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda... These are representatives of the Vietnamese belief. We believe in the real or unreal geniuses as the heroes of the country, famous characters, or even the earth, the mountains, the river or tree geniuses... This genius system varies according to one ethnic group to another and each region. Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ethnographic museum in which is retraced the ethnic minorities life in Vietnam. The objects, houses, clothes, documents are gathered among the museum. You will have the opportunity to enter in the long house of Ede, Jarai the Rong house or the earthen house of Ha Nhi... a visit of all the ethnic groups.
In the late afternoon, you will attend a water puppet show, this is a traditional Vietnamese art which mies both folk music and actions of wooden puppets and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Hanoï – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc boat trip in the countryside.

About 100 km away from Hanoi in Ninh Binh province, there is a large number of rich historical heritages of Vietnam, as it was the ancient capital of the country according to the 11th century. Ninh Binh attracts visitors with its historic highness, and culturally rich destination. At Ninh Binh, visit the most authentic sights of this beautiful province Kenh Ga (natural hot springs), Thung Nang (Sun Valley) with a portion of the inland Halong Bay, Tam Coc (three caves also named the HaLong Bay inland), Thai Vi temple, Pagoda Bich Dong.
After breakfast, you will go to Ninh Binh.
On arrival at Hoa Lu temple, visit the ancient capital of Vietnam under the Ly Dynasty and Le antérieur. Discovery of two temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le Kings.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will go on an excursion in a rowing boat on Ngo Dong river, the area which is known as Tam Coc (three caves). The boat trip will last approximately 1.5 hours. Tam Coc is a small village whose inhabitants organize walks on the Ngo Dong River. You will see the rocks having the same appearance as Phoenix in mandarin hat, turtle. It will be beautiful. Sometimes the river will merge with rice fields and give you the impression of riding a real sea. Such a nice boat trip !
In the late afternoon, bike ride to visit Bich Dong Pagoda, then drive back to Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi
Day 4 - Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D).
Departure by private transfaer and guide in the morning (at around 08.00am) from Hanoi. We drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. We then embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, we are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, we reach a less travelled area where we will devote ourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village over the course of these 2 days. We end the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner.
Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom.

Day 5 - Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Brunch/-).
For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. We then continue our exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. We disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. The trip ends here.
