Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to one of the most experienced water puppeteer's house, who devoted more than 20 years of his life to water puppet. He converted the 10 square meters on the 4th floor into a “miniature water puppet show” where he introduces the unique traditional art form of Vietnam water puppetry.
Upon entering the house, we will have a tea break and talk with the artist, we’ll also have an opportunity to watch his own water puppet plays telling both ancient and modern stories of traditions and the daily life of the Vietnamese. We, then have a chance to learn how this “miniature water puppet show” different from the others performing in the theatres in Hanoi.
As soon as the show finishes, it’s your turn to tuck up your sleeves, touch the puppets and try to control them yourselves. The behind-the-scene experience will be a unique and an unforgettable memory in your life. After the show, you will be transferred back to your hotel, the tour ends here.
