HÀ NỘI — People in the capital have made preparations for the upcoming four-day (from April 28 - May 1) holiday celebrating the Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1), and many of them will be traveling. Many tourism companies are reporting a 20 per cent increase in bookings as compared to non-holiday days.

Vietnam’s Cao Bang Park declared UNESCO Global Geopark.

Vietnam’s Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in the northern province of Cao Bang has been recently declared a new member of the UNESCO Global Network of National Geoparks, making it the second Vietnamese geopark to be awarded the title, following the recognition of Dong Van Karst Plateau in Ha Giang province in December 2010.
